Betula Loop (2025)
Wakehurst, Ardingly, UK
Aluminium, Canvas, Rope
21m diameter x 2.1m high
Deep in Bethlehem Wood, this new site-specific work responds to the rare Japanese birch Betula Chichibuensis. It’s a sculptural loop—part seed form, part poly-tunnel—that invites you to walk through light, texture, and time.
Created as part of the Seedscapes exhibition, the work reflects on presence, fragility, and our relationship with nature.
